On April 20-21, 2016, the 2nd edition of the OSA National Scientific Conference will be organized at the Faculty of Environmental Engineering of the Cracow University of Technology. This event is dedicated to students, PhD students and researchers of fields related to the broadly understood subject of the environment.
The conference is devoted to three main topics:
• Waste – packaging waste, waste incineration technology, benefits resulting from the construction of the incineration plant, cooperation of the incinerator with the municipal heating system, waste recycling;
• Environment – topics related to ventilation, air conditioning and heating, sewage treatment and water treatment, as well as energy-saving construction;
• Atmosphere – air filtration issues , air quality protection, industrial installations, pollution measurement methods, as well as smog in Krakow
The event is organized by the “Equilibrium” Student Scientific Circle for Ventilation, Air-conditioning and Heating and the Student Scientific Circle for Waste Management, operating at the Faculty of Environmental Engineering of the Cracow University of Technology. with a very wide range of topics. It was under the patronage of the Rector of the Cracow University of Technology – prof. dr hab. Eng. Kazimierz Furtak and the Dean of the Faculty of Environmental Engineering – prof. dr hab. Eng. Elżbieta Nachlik.
This year’s edition will be organized according to the Green Event standard. This means that the negative environmental impact associated with the organization and conduct of the conference will be limited, and thanks to the cooperation with the Aeris Futuro Foundation, carbon dioxide emissions will be offset.
The media patronage over the event is provided by Radio Kraków.
The event was also under the patronage of:
